See All ReviewsI do not usually post anything concerning restaurants or experiences in them. This is an exception as it was the owner that answered the phone. he was very short and rude. I included the pictures of the saltines to show just how small and meatless this supposed Cheesesteak sub was. Maybe he should just call his place "Ant's" for short as that is all his subs would feed and possibly fill their tiny little bellies. He said to me on the phone "well I don't know what you want, it has the standard 4 ounces of meat on it". I am allergic to bell peppers so my wife asked that the peppers be left off. You can see by the pictures that there is now more onions and mushrooms on the sub than there is meat. So I now have a sub on white bread (never asked whether we wanted white or wheat) with a 4 ounce dollop of meat and even less cheese on it than meat. Now back to the discussion with the owner who was so rude he actually told me if I didn't like his sub than I just needed to go elsewhere to get one. No problem and the one thing I did agree with him on. Publix is right down the street and makes a far superior sub than they can make any day of the week. So Long Ant's.
Awful experience and we will never be back. The owner commented on my Mother-in-Law's weight - TO HER FACE! Absolutely unbelievable. Our waitress was sweet and attentive but the owner is beyond rude and the food is sub par at best. The Chicken Parmesan was inedible... the chicken filet appeared to have been in the bottom of the freezer forever because once cooked it had zero meat on it. Simply overcooked fried breading. It was terrible. The pizza was underdone presumably because the pizza oven had just been lit as we walked in and was not nearly hot enough to adequately cook a pizza. How this place is still in business is beyond me. It has gone way downhill since the ownership change. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.
This is not the first time i go to this restaurant, we loved the food, this time i was looking for a NY style pizza and I found it I ordered DA BROOKLYN pizza it was just what I was looking for, it was thin, flavorful, cheesy and super good, we also ordered the antipasto salad i was surprise that we ordered the small size and it was pretty big, lots of meat and cheese, we got the vinaigrette it's tangy and fresh very flavorful, our waitress Jaylinne, was super nice and very attentive, she was the one that suggested that pizza, she was on point, she even mentioned the owner says that once you come in is like you're in NY, and he's right!!!.
